So last night was rough for poor kooper..now his name ( kooper the pooper) fits him perfectly. Of course he had some bowel issues with the changing of his new food, which i expected totally! Fortunately he actually told me when he needed to go out and went straight out, used the bathroom then went right back into his kennel until his next poop emergency :-). I went out and bought some topical medication for his hot spots and have been treating them twice daily. Yesterday he got a antibacterial bath with a soothing vinegar soak ( lol) he wasn't too thrilled about it beings that he smelled like a pickled bulldog, but he got over it fast. lol
I'm such an impatient person when it comes to things like this because i wanna see results fast, but i know it will take a few weeks for everything to come together and show some kind of light at the end of the tunnel. I cant tell if Kooper feels better or not either and that is a main concern i have. OH i also gave him a dose of children's allergy medication,so hopefully it will help speed up the healing process! or at least ease any discomfort he might be feeling.
